Elizabeth Peveto

Faces and Places In The World Liz Peveto's life began in a small town in Louisiana with a family of creative people. She did not have access to art classes in school, but took advantage of being in Houston, Texas as an adult where she could develop her drawing skills from many noted artists, such as Bernice Brown, Mary Price, Lajos Markos, Frederick Taubes, & John balm. While living in Stavanger, Norway she attended the Rogaland University to study Life Drawing. In recent years she has taken classes at the Scottsdale Artist School with Tom Browning, David Leffel at Loveland Academy and workshops with Ben Konis, Gay Faulkenberry, J. Chris Morel, and Tim Diebler aroused her interest in En Plein Air classes with them in recent years. Liz has especially enjoyed classes with C. W. Mundy at the Fredericksburg Art School and in Tuscaloosa, Al. She has been fortunate to travel to places that gave her inspiration for new material to paint in her studio and En Plein Air. Through the years Liz has won awards with her oil paintings.
