Vermont Artist Brenda Myrick is an artist/painter in Lincoln, Vermont whose works include watercolors, oils, Vermont scenes, and commissioned portraits of animals, people, and places. My art reflects my love of Vermont landscapes, it's people, and animals. In the past 10 years I have concentrated my efforts in portraiture. My goal is not only to create a likeness, but also to capture the essence of my subject, whether it be a landscape, person, or animal."A portrait painting has many lives; those lived by everyone that loves the subject and the life of the artist as the piece was being created. I love to paint portraits! It allows for a deep connection between us all."Her commissioned portraits and landscapes are in the private collections of clients, Inns, and corporations around the country including Mad River Glen,Senator Patrick Leahy, The Seward Webb Family, and many well-known horse barns, and dog breeders.
