I am throwing a kiss to my husband in this photograph in front of Notre Dame in Paris. I was feeling cheeky and inordinately happy.
We were waiting for the Batobus on the Seine to take us to the Eiffel Tower.
As I write this, it was only two weeks ago on August 10th, 2009. I could hardly contain my love for Paris. I took over 2000 photographs.
My Canon Digital Rebel became very heavy after walking for 10 hours a day, but I was willing to "suffer" for my art.
A professional photographer for over 30 years, I have remained passionate about making photographic images while also working as an author, jewelry artist, playwright, freelance writer, college instructor, editor, and consultant. My photographic work is in private and corporate collections, and my shows have included:
May 2009: “ Happy 50th Birthday, Barbie: the Hot Flash Barbie Club Celebrates with Bling" (Art Installation, Jewelry, Photographs), Scribe, Marblehead Art Walk.

I am the co-author of the non-fiction book, Witness to Illness: Strategies for Caregiving and Coping published by Addison-Wesley, mentioned in the February 2001 issue of Oprah Magazine.
I have also written a play called High Tea at the Ritz, a comedy that was produced in Hollywood. My screenplay, Erzulie, co-written with Christopher McKinnon, is currently being marketed. In addition, I have taught business, screenplay and autobiographical writing at Harvard University’s Extension and Summer School, Emerson College and Boston University.
Recently, I have produced one-of-a-kind jewelry creations, and I have shown work at the Junior Aid Society Charity Show, Tedesco Country Club in Marblehead; French + Italian, Marblehead; Marblehead Art Walk; Design Hive, Cambridge, MA; Mommies Who Shop, Hamilton, MA and Marblehead Go Green, sponsored by the Marblehead League of Women Voters.
Born in Philadelphia, I live in Marblehead, Massachusetts with my husband, D. Bruce Greenwald — architect, sculptor and best friend.
