wild world growing up in a village in germany i have always been surrounded by animals. the love i have for all creatures is reflected in my work. i now live in the country in australia and my subject matter predominantly remains the same. in my art i prefer to use real or fictional animals to express my thoughts and feelings about our relationship with the world.the aim i pursue is to give a sense of connection with our fellow beings and produce art that inspire unity with all creation.a sense of humour and lightheartedness are essential to a large part of my works, the titles can be thought provoking, so gives the viewer something to ponder over. i often do small series of a particular style, working in mixed media, oil, acylic on canvas, wood or plaster, depending on what medium presents itself as most fitting to the desired effect.
