About Cynthia Originally from the Philippines, Cynthia lives and paints in Washington, DC. She loved drawing as a child, but concentrated on piano for many years. She rediscovered art in late 1993 and there was no turning back. Painting has since become a passion.Cynthia works with oil, watercolor, charcoal, pastel, and ink, but oil is her favorite medium. Her style is primarily representational with touches of impressionism although she has ventured into abstraction as well in a few of her paintings.Her body of work features a wide range of styles and themes including colorful landscapes and intimate portraits. Whether representational or abstract in style, Cynthia's work reveals a personal approach to art that always seeks to convey a mood or tell a story.
