Lose Yourself In Colors Giving you a brief explanation describing my art work would be the growing up in the process of art. The history behind my art has always been the process of receiving an idea then researching that idea. My intellect needs to be fed, and then I am supplied with knowledge. The last step is I grant myself the ability be free. I can create a piece of art and do not stop to censor my expressions. Today I create abstract art, in the past I would paint abstract expressionism, surrealism and many other styles. Now I have a direction with art. My direction in art is the concepts of colors, texture plus line. This is what is important where I am in this moment in time.I am a Chicagoan which went from Chicago to the suburbs and then back to the City. My education was The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I went back to school as an older student to study my passion which was art. I received my BFA and MAAT (Masters of Art and Art Therapy).
Urban Aquarium Urban AquariumThis painting is unique because of the directions of line. The shapes of these lines give a feeling of movement. The curved lines are enclosed which remind me of bubbles.
