About This Artwork
From the artist's Colorbar Murrine Series. Kilnformed (fused) art glass, cold worked. This piece includes over 1,200 murrine, each containing seven layers of art glass specifically created for fusing. The murrine are handmade and positioned by the artist. Each panel has been sandblasted and re-fired to produce a matt finish. 8 shades of opaque and transparent glass (green, blue, yellow and red).
