About This Artwork
From the artist's Colorbar Murrine Series. Kilnformed (fused) art glass, cold worked. This piece includes over 400 murrine, each containing seven layers of art glass specifically created for fusing. The murrine are handmade and positioned by the artist. While the main accent color of this piece is green, there are actually 8 shades of yellow, blue, orange and green opaque and transparent glass.
