About This Artwork
The Courtois Creek is one of those classic clear Ozark Streams that draws people to Missouri. It is really too small of a stream to attract much attention except where it flows into Huzzah Creek. This painting depicts the Courtois much farther upstream where, most of the year, it is too low to float. But there are some great swimming and fishing holes within an easy walk of several low water bridges. A classic Ozark landscape – Courtois Creek is one of my favorite subjects to paint.
Because pastels are fragile materials all my painting are placed behind glass in quality frames. The cost of the framing is already included in the painting price. If you prefer, I will sell the pastel unframed. For unframed paintings deduct 10% from the painting cost.
