About This Artwork
I love Ginkgo Leaves. I’ll never forget seeing my first Ginkgo tree – over thirty years ago – on my first trip to the Missouri Botanical Gardens. It was love at first sight. What majestic trees with those strange shapped lime green leaves that turn lemon yellow in the fall. Over the years I’ve taken hundreds of photos of Ginkgo trees and their leaves. This mixed media artwork, Ginkgo Leaves, (a combination pencil drawing and photography) is still my favorite.
