About This Artwork

The painting depicts a fearless youngster walking into a deep, dark, magical Aspen forest.
That youngster in the painting is my granddaughter when she was six year old …very lady like, petite, bright, adventurous and competitive. When she was eleven, she earned the title "Gillian the Destroyer" after defeating five fencers in a row during a competition.
