About This Artwork
This watercolor was created from four separate photographs of mine. The rider in the background was one of eight men from Hawaii touring the Rockies on horseback. My wife and I were teaching in a ghost town called "Capitol City" when they came through.
The two little sweeties, the girls, were at a blackpowder rendezvous in the mountains in their finery. I used their pretty faces and changed their white lace dresses into deer hides.
And the aspen trees are always my first love that I keep photographing.
Framed in 4" rustic wood.
