About This Artwork
This is a simple still-life using shadow, light, and form. The inspiration comes from the countless still-life's and memento mori I've viewed over the years. Influence comes from Vermeer, Redon and Van Gogh in painting, Karl Blossfeldt, Irving Penn and Paul Outerbridge in photography. All images are available in classic black and white or sepia toned per your request. All images except those in color have a black "keyline" border around the image. Prints are archival pigment prints unless otherwise noted and are printed on 100% cotton rag with a luster surface. All materials used are archival and meet museum standards.
