About This Artwork
"Autumn Rage" is an original composition, an edition of one, consisting of 10 canvas panels making up the finished piece. The overall dimension of the 10 panels: 392" x 96" (32' 8" x 8'). The depth of the piece is approx 2". "Autumn Rage" is designed to hang flush against the wall for maximum aesthetics.
"Autumn" was inspired by all things fall; the weather, the trees, the colors, the smells, autumn. I combined the many images inspired from those visuals into the just over 32-foot wide abstract, photo montage you see here.
This piece is a combination of digital images and manipulations of those images. Each panel is printed to canvas using archival materials and processes and is then stretched conventionally incorporating a gallery wrap format (stretching the canvas around the edges of the stretcher frame, requiring no additional framing). I then use a variety of acrylic coatings and textures to give the piece a unique finish to compliment the final work. It is now ready to hang.
