About This Artwork
A few years back, I became obsessed with a picture my husband took of me when I was about twenty. He had scanned the original slide at a low resolution. He was disappointed with the quality of the image reproduction, but I was fascinated by the graphic simplicity. This set off a series of pieces that I created by manipulating the scan in Photoshop.
Two giclée prints from original photograph digitally manipulated in two different versions printed on specialty art paper (with fibers that are removed after printing) then hand torn and collaged together – first version sold – can be reproduced upon order – each version will be slightly different, i.e., a unique original – Unframed/Unmatted – shown here on black background – ships flat – similar work can be created to your specifications upon commission, contact artist at annedelain27@aol.com – commissioned work takes at least 30 days
