About This Artwork
I did the sketches for this picture the same time I set up the Keleti painting above. There is something personal about missing a train and I wanted to really focus in on this guy without making him very big - somehow lost in the mass of the station. With the sun setting, I could only imagine that this added to the gravity of his situation.
The original is sold but I do have limited edition prints on canvas that I individually lacquer with a thick acrylic to give a textured effect.
