About This Artwork
Getting in close without disturbing this sleeping butterfly was the greatest challenge. A tripod that would get low to the ground was essential. The morning backlit sun was rising fast- soon, the effect of this miracle would be lost. Working quickly and holding my breath, I was blessed with a couple of images.
