About This Artwork
Although I'm interested in many art forms, I have a special facination with the art of Calligraphy.
In Chinese culture, writing is a sacred art form. Every Chinese character has its own way of being formed... and there are 7 kinds of stroke, known as the "seven mysteries."
The number 7 is widely considered a sacred, mystical and magical number... symbolizing the cosmic and spiritual order and the completion of a natural cycle.
I created this character at a time when, I too, had completed a cycle and began a new one in my own evolution as a spiritual Being and artist.
