About This Artwork
We get so caught up in sunrises and sunsets that we often miss the simple scenes as the moon sets over the mountains.
I arrived at Red Rock Canyon National Park around 5:15am in order to get this shot, the part doesn't open until 6am. I passed the time by visualizing this shot. When the gates opened, I knew where I had to be and enjoyed every moment of moonsetting over the mountains.
