About This Artwork
Cheeks was the lead mare horse of about 30 pregnant mares in a pasture north of Ogalalla, Nebraska near a dude ranch. She didn't didn't like me shooting her charges and kept giving me sassy attitude. This image is my favorite in that it shows her fiery personality.
