About This Artwork
I was exploring this pine forest in south Florida on a 4 wheel drive ATV. A storm the night before dumped an incredible 8 inches of rain, so the area was flooded and foggy.
But as the sun rose and began to burn through the mist, the light became absolutely magical.
I frantically looked for something to photograph, knowing this gorgeous light wouldn't last long. But as far as I could see in every direction, there was nothing but pines and palmettos.
So I finally just stopped and shot what was there in front of me.
In other words, the subject of this photo is more the light, than the forest.
The image is printed 12" x 18", on 13" x 19" Hahnemuhle Fine Art Baryta paper, signed by the artist.
To give the buyer maximum display options, the print is shipped unmounted and unframed.
