About This Artwork
"Bear Creek" is in the Maroon Bells Snowmass wilderness area in the Elk Mountains near Aspen, Colorado. It is feed by Piere Lakes, 4 lakes all above timberline with a view of 2 fourteeners, Snowmass Peak and Capital Peak. This photo of "Bear Creek" is just above the waterfalls about half way up the trail to the lakes. A refreshing place to rest, have lunch and take pictures.
