About This Artwork
I was heading west on I-70 thru Kansas just past Goodland when I saw this Bright Yellow field south of the highway about 2 miles. The closer I got the more I began to realize that this was my first encounter with a field of sunflowers. I felt like I could better identify with Van Gogh's feelings in being in the presence of something so beautiful. What amazed me was that they were all staring right at me. I spent about an hour shooting and came away with some winners, this one being my favorite. For other available sizes and prices see my studio.
