About This Artwork
This image of Battery Park City reminds me more of Paris for some reason. We even call it the Paris photo. That said, it is of the Hudson River looking over Jersey City. It's NYC in the very beginning of Spring when it's still cold, rainy and quiet. It has a romantic feeling to it. The lights are just going on near the walk way and the evening is coming. A popular photograph.
