About This Artwork
This photograph of NYC seagulls was taken on a freezing cold morning. So cold that my shutter hesitated and left the center of this image over exposed. I loved it just as it was and printed it. People love it and feel like light is beaming down from heaven. The Brooklyn Bridge plays an important backdrop to these free gulls who need no bridge to cross over the East River.
Taken in black and white film it has the qualities that only film can offer.
