About This Artwork
I have always been fascinated by the delicate shapes, sizes and colors of butterflies, certainly a miracle of God's creation. I captured this one (on film) in the mountains of Southern California near sunset about 1976. The unique angle and lighting was what I was after, illuminating the wings of this tiny creature- which is actually about the size of a quarter.
