About This Artwork
Living in New York City, one thing I've discovered, is don't be surprised by anything. This painting is a perfect example, several months ago I was walking on the upper west side of Manhattan and saw a building being raised, when I took a closer look I saw this ad which was painted on one of the walls being exposed after who knows how many years. I took some photos and went to my studio to start a painting of the wall. But I got side tracked for about two weeks. When I did start I thought I should get some details photographed. But when I went back the ad was covered by a brand new brick wall.
