About This Artwork
NIna Kortova was a pupil of Rosapovitch the great Russian cellist, a friend of mine saw her in concert in London, photograph her, I rang her agent, she agreed.In the studio I had my stylist get a selection of beautiful flowing gowns, i needed these to flow in the wind, giving a visual feeling to the deep resonant music coming from her cello as she played for me,she chose the red dress, even with the sound of the howling wind machine blowing wildly,the amazing music, and wind blended into a furious symphony.
