About This Artwork
I was staying at a friends Villa in Azelo in the beautiful lush countryside outside Venice.
The Hotel Chiprani, the main one being in Venice,has this other smaller charming Chiprani Hotel,in this medieval little town. The world famous drink the "Bellini" ( fresh seasonal peaches liquidized in cold Christal Brut Champagne) was invented in the twenties for the international jet set.
My friends gave fantastic lunches, and dinner parties on the veranda,accompanied by the local white wine champagne, grown in the vineyards that lay below the villa, in the verdant valley. In local little glasses,sipping cold champagne we relished the tangy cherries that had been absorbing champagnes nutty flavor,in the shade of the patio, in the lazy bee humming summer afternoon.
