About This Artwork
After a late evening storm the light from the sun emerging from behind the clouds burnishes the golden reeds in the still waters of Clearwater Lake in Manitoba, Canada. Framed by conifers, the circular spring-fed lake 20 km north of The Pas has startingly clear water even at depths of 11 feet (3.35 m). It is the main natural feature of Clearwater Lake Provincial Park.
