About This Artwork
Our Guide in Oman took us off of our bus to
show us a lone tree growing in the desert.
He took a piece of material from the tree, cut into it and said "this is frankincense". It is
later dried and sold to burn as incense. I
couldn't resist painting him. He was an
interesting person, and it is fun to share where incense begins!!
