About This Artwork
As you approach Jasper, Arkansas you round a sharp bend and Mt. Judea comes into view standing proud as it towers over the town of Jasper and the Little Buffalo River. One evening after an early summer thunderstorm, I came upon this scene. I was captivated by the way Mt Judea arose out of a misty fog to inspire this pastel.
Because pastels are fragile materials all my painting are placed behind glass in quality frames. The cost of the framing is already included in the painting price. If you prefer, I will sell the pastel unframed. For unframed paintings deduct 10% from the painting cost.
