About This Artwork
The Buffalo River is one of my favorite destinations in the Arkansas Ozarks. It’s a beautiful river, surrounded by towering bluffs, deep rugged valleys, and wonderful waterfalls. Through the years I have managed to float the entire river from Ponca, Arkansas to where it flows into the White River near Buffalo City. My goal in painting Roark Bluff (near Ponca) was to capture the fog lingering in the river valley one cool autumn morning.
Because pastels are fragile materials all my painting are placed behind glass in quality frames. The cost of the framing is already included in the painting price. If you prefer, I will sell the pastel unframed. For unframed paintings deduct 10% from the painting cost.
