About This Artwork
My Ozark Barn Series has really begun to evolve. The paintings have much less to do with reality, or being based on a specific place, and more with creating images that I envision with my imagination. This pastel, Sunrise Mist, is really an experiment in depicting the early morning light and capturing the misty haze I’ve often seen in my Ozark travels.
Because pastels are fragile materials all my painting are placed behind glass in quality frames. The cost of the framing is already included in the painting price. If you prefer, I will sell the pastel unframed. For unframed paintings deduct 10% from the painting cost.
