About This Artwork
White Barn on Bluff Road, is a painting based on photographs I had taken in the winter of 2006. It had been a beautiful day with full sun until I discovered this rustic old barn. Just as I started to look around for a place to make a few sketches, clouds moved in turning the afternoon gray and cold. I settled on taking a few reference photographs, which this summer interpretation is based on.
Because pastels are fragile materials all my painting are placed behind glass in quality frames. The cost of the framing is already included in the painting price. If you prefer, I will sell the pastel unframed. For unframed paintings deduct 10% from the painting cost.
