About This Artwork
Katydid Speak Easy is a whimsical, but interesting piece. The Katydid sits atop a poetry style stool in a beatnik speakeasy rustic setting as if to expound a verbal emotional cry. I'm not personally sure at what it's meaning is, or if it even has one, but it seems to have some sort of quality that causes viewers to voluntarily interpret it. I like the textures and colors of this piece. It's printed on archival canvas with Lucia inks and stand-out mounted for easy wall hanging. As with most of my work, I offer it in a variety of sizes. This one is 24x18 inches.
