About This Artwork
As we came down the old curving dirt road we saw the old house with a backlit situation and stopped to take some digitals of it. When out of the road, I sat up and started painting and was struck by the desolate look of the old house with a weed infested yard and old board and other objects lying about. It was a fun project to try to catch the desolation of the scene.
