About This Artwork
I was driving near Menominee Wisconsin in the winter of 2006. Beside Green Bay I saw this barn where fishermen store nets. It was one of those times where I had to make a U-turn and capture it with my camera. It was quiet and strangely surreal.
The perfect snow combined with the blue and gray overcast created a environment that made me want to stare and reflect on life. It was very cold but I hardly even noticed as I photographed this stark but gentle icon of the mid-west winter.
I offer this piece printed with oil based inks on canvas mounted to board for easy framing.
