About This Artwork
This is an oval image on a rectangular 11 x 14 sheet of cotton rag paper, in a matte with an oval window.
Made with an 8 x 10 view camera, the image was highly diffused at the time it was exposed. My objective was to evoke a chalk drawing, or a pastel painting.
This is an open edition print, made on 11 x 14 inch cotton fiber paper, hand coated in the palladium printing process.
Palladium prints are extremely archival (and collectible) and should last without image loss, as long as the paper itself.
