About This Artwork
South by Southwest, was inspired by watching a late evening Hot Air Balloon race. No matter how many times I’ve seen it, I never tire of watching these beautiful giants of the sky take off chasing the hare.
South by Southwest was painted with the finest quality pastels available. With proper care, it will retain its beauty and value for future generations. This pastel has been finished with a protective acrylic varnish to protect it from dust, moisture and ultraviolet light. Like an oil or acrylic painting, It does not need a glass cover for protection, and may be cleaned with a clean damp cloth.
