About This Artwork
The Galapagos sea lion is one of three subspecies of the California sea lion. Juveniles are quite inquisitive and swim together in “kindergartens”, swimming and playing in the shallow water. This photograph was taken off Darwin Island, one of the “outer islands” in the Galapagos. The image was published in Asian Diver magazine. It is mounted on foam core, matted and framed.
