About This Artwork
This oil portrays an imaginary ancient indian pueblo somewhere high in the mountains of the four corners area of the southwest…between Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico.
The pueblos of Chaco , Mesa Verde, Hovenweep, Bandelier, and Canyon de Chelly were often only accessible by rope or through rock climbing.
Framed in blond wood with black velvet liner.
If you look at the left side of the painting, the purple rocks outline an indian profile. On these rocks you will see a few 'ghost glyphs' painted there by the indians!
