About This Artwork
Influenced by Gustaf Klimt, I chose to use a mosaic tile background in this watercolor. It is a tranquil scene of a woman contemplating her life, her existence… where she is going and where she has been.
I had a blast with the colors. In order for me to see how the folds of the garment fell, my wife Lydia posed wrapped in a chenille bedspread! The face of the woman I imagined to be of Inca heritage.
Framed in a beautiful 4" Gold frame.
