About This Artwork
This image is of the iconic seventh hole at Pine Valley Golf Course in New Jersey. The unique part of this hole is the HALFWAY HOUSE right at the tee box. It was built for a refreshment and snack break halfway through the course. It appears to be a windmill without the arms, but is mostly remembered for the bird houses mounted on the sections of the low hung roof. This is probably the most memorable buildings to be seen on this magnificient, "Best in the US Golf Series" by Joseph M. Getsinger. This artist has created three other images of Pine Valley which include the 5th, the 10th and the 18th holes.
