About This Artwork
This image depict a water rescue scene where a boat fire caused the occupants to vacate the boat into the water. The "Sealegs" rescue boat with fire department rescue crew is on the scene rescuing the survivors and attempting to extinquish the boat fire. Another rescue boat is heading towards the boat fire to search for any other victims and attempt to extinquish the boat fire. In the background you can see the rescue truck on land waiting for the victims to be transported to land. This type of boat can ride on land by dropping the tires when it nears land to drive up to the Rescue truck. This image was created to raise needed funds for the Burn Foundation of Philadephia to aid burn victims, burn survivors and promote burn education.
