About This Artwork
This feathered fossil from coal was mined,
The origin of birds, it re-defined.
I named this Mobile "Archaeopteryx" because it reminded me of the prehistoric feathered dinosaur fossil that was found in a coal mine in Germany.
The Mobile is constructed of hand cut PVC shapes with monofiliment line suspension.
The 1/8" thick PVC, is a material that is commonly used in signage. It is colorfast and light, so that it moves in the slightest breeze.
