This is an unusual and striking nude, with a strong sense of movement. It is bold, contemporary and emotive with a lovely sketcherly aspect. the subject is raw and unfettered with beautiful connective lines and strength. The colors are tawny and warm with a rich, velvety feel.
This piece is Oils on Canvas painted in my signature ochre technique using layered washes and strategic removal of paint to create a wonderful three dimensional look and a strong emotional feel. Skin tones are produced using this technique with colors and glazes to enhance the emotive qualities and sketcherly aspect of the figures.
This piece is so rich and warm with a lot of depth, sweeping curves and beautiful soft lines.
