The history behind my art has always been the process of receiving and researching an idea. My intellect needs to be fed. I am in constant search for artistic knowledge. I grant myself the ability to be free, artistically. I can create a piece of art and not stop to censor my own expressions or direction. Today, I create abstract art. In the past I would paint abstract expressionism, surrealism and many other styles. Now I have a direction with my art that is rooted in the concept of colors, texture and line. I am a Chicagoan. I received my formal art education at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I earned my BFA and MAAT - Masters of Art and Art Therapy.
