I was inspired to study photography by my grandfather, who was extremely competent in the darkroom, and who had the opportunity to travel around the world doing documentary photos for a non-profit organization. I'm predominantly self-taught, but over the years I've taken a number of photography classes and read countless books. I have been influenced by all of the great photographers that helped create the industry. I have had several darkrooms in the past but do not now. I have heartily embraced new technology that can be applied to photography, to improve quality of the image, and to allow incredible freedom for creative minds. I have a huge inventory of photos, from realistic to abstract, travel, stock, and much more, ranging from the mundane and even silly, to artistic work.
