I love to capture moments – those small parcels of time that grab our attention ever so briefly, engaging us and leaving us emotionally moved. I enjoy being “present” to my surroundings, observant, open, and ready to receive that gift of moments. I seek the positive, the hopeful, whether it be in the beauty of the natural world, the wonders of other lands, or the human endeavor to reconnect with the land in a sustainable way. I am not blind to the complex issues we face, sometimes documenting them as well, but I yearn to focus on steps toward solutions, be they ever so small.
